ABOUT MRS. WERNINGER

My Name is Danielle Werninger. This is pronounced  (warning-grr). I usually go by Mrs. W. I am a mother of two: a 5-year-old and 3-year-old. I grew up in Kansas City, KS. I graduated from JC Harmon High, then pursued Nursing and worked at the KU Cancer Center for 3 1/2 years. I received my Bachelors of Education from Missouri Western. This is my first year at UA and I am excited about this journey. I am a Jayhawk, Chiefs, and Royals fan.

Philosophy: I believe every student CAN learn, just not all in the same way. I want to show students that it's not about the deck you are given, but rather how you reshuffle that deck to become the best you can be. I want every child to know was tough on them because I cared for them, and knew their potential.
